Bath Time

here's rob giving maddie her first bath(at least our first time giving her a bath). she wasn't very happy. we decided to bathe her outside due to her hugeness. bad idea!! she got a lil chilly...poor thing! the end result was good though...she was so soft & smelled fresh. so of course i gave her tons more hugs & kisses...which i can't decide if she enjoys or not?

My Family

Today is my mom aka mommy's birthday. She is 52! Wow...gettin up there. To me though she's 27. She is my best friend! I talk to her everyday and I can't imagine my life without her. Since I have to be a grown up and work on her birthday we had a celebration @ my house on Sunday. We ate, watched the Colts BARELY win, and got in some much needed family time. It was soo GREAT. My mom, dad, both my sisters Heather & Jenny, their husbands Parrish & Bobby, my beautiful niece Savannah & nephews Hayden & Wyatt came to visit Rob & I. Here are some pics from the day...it was so much fun. PLEASE come again soon!!!

The Disappointment

Well as you might know I'm from Indiana so that makes me a Colts fan. Lastnight was their opening game against the Chicago Bears. What a disappointment the game was! The Colts lost 29-13....to the BEARS! Sorry Bears fans out there but I thought the game would be a cake walk for us. We weren't on top of our game though. Manning just came back from surgery, Clark got injured, Harrison had a fumble(so not like him!), & Sanders wasn't on his tip toes. So I know I shouldn't use those as excuses but it makes me feel better about the whole situation. I will admit the Bears were playing pretty good. It looks like they FINALLY found a quarterback that can pass the ball.

It's just the beggining though. The Colts will get it together & next game....LOOKOUT Vikings.

My Crush

This is Cole. He is the son of one of my best friends Leah & Mark. He is soo cute! Here we are hangin out. It was the first day he really got to meet me. Let me tell you...he's going to be a lil heartbreaker. He was flirtin all day. Good Luck Leah & Mark

This is Hayden my nephew. He is such a lil monster but boy do I love him! He has gotten sweeter in his older days. Here he is as you can see enjoying some icecream.....i miss those days we could eat like that!

The Office

this is the company i work for. Archer Land Title(we sell title insurance for homes). i have only been there since January. although it was my rival enemy back in the day, i can honestly say now a days they take good care of their empolyees...unlike Pioneer/Patriot in the end. i am in the funding department. it is very busy but in the end not as stressful as it use to be in the broker world. maybe they got ace under control(seriously doubt it) or they know the difference between their employees & their clients. guess i can just say so far no complaints & they pay the bills!!

this is pretty much my view from my desk. 465 n/s. it's pretty much like cops w/out sound. we've seen several people stopped/arrested, people yelling @ cops, people getting it on in the parking lot & cars towed. pretty entertaining sometimes. other than that i really like that i have a view of the outstide world all day long. i hate not seeing what's going on. it does get like 90degrees when it's sunny next to the windows but i really like being next to the window! who wants to be cooped up in the basement!

This is Pam. she is one of my 2 work mothers. she is an awesome lady. very sweet but definitely not afraid to tell you what she thinks. she's funny too! she's had a rough couple months. she was terribly sick, her grandson died from an AV accident & she has just rec'vd notice that her son is being recalled back to the airforce. he just had his first baby girl less than a month ago too! terrible. everyone please pray for him! she has given me some pretty good advice, i respect her & wish her the best in everything. thanks for everything pam!

this is Tina, my other work mother(sorry ladies i'm not saying you are old!!!). she is an awesome lady also! she has had a pretty hard life but has come out pretty strong. she currently has custody of her 3 granddaughters(all between the ages of 2-5) & has done wonderful w/them. their mom bobbie(tina's youngest daughter) has lost them due to meth but has worked on getting sober & is currently working her way to get her daugthers back. so Tina is working full time, a full time grandma/mom & has no complaints except she wishes she had a man to spill it on. trust me Tina they are not all that! so Kudos Tina for doing it all your own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is bob, cheri, me & rob. we were @ a rob's manager's house(beautiful place by the way!). she had a gathering for the members on her team. we had food, drinks & played some games. even though i was lil nervous for not knowing anyone(besides cheri, bob & rob of course) it ended up being a pretty good time.

Girls Night Out

saturday was a fun night. heather, our friend megan & i had a girls night out. we met for dinner @ champs(sorry i don't have any pics..i need to get better @ remembering to take them) we chatted girl talk & caught up on what's been going on in our lives. then we went & watched a movie. "forgetting sarah marshall" it was pretty hilarious. we got to see plenty of nudity & crying. i had a great time though. every girl could always use a night w/out the boys!
